I am a professional genealogist, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Genealogical, Palaeographic and Heraldic Studies, an AGRA Associate and Member of The Register of Qualified Genealogists. I have over 25 years research experience from around the world, specialising in London families and those who passed through British India and Far East and Dutch Indies. I achieved a certificate in British India Ancestors from the National Institute for Genealogical Studies, also a research agent at the British Library, Asia and Africa Reading room for family history.
I am a volunteer host for the Society of Genealogists and events co-ordinator for London Westminster & Middlesex Family History Society.

I have experience researching far and wide, mostly recently worked on establishing a possible Huguenot descendant and 4 generations of Scottish fisherman & soldiers. Found what happened to a long lost great Aunt. Established contact with long lost family whose ancestor had change name. Visited The National Archives (in Kew) to take photos of 17th century letters patent. Visited London Metropolitan Archives to research Asylum Records. Researched family from British India with Bengal Pilot ancestors.
Currently working on a family with East India Company connections and a DNA match that connects Netherland with Paraguay and Indonesia!

All charges will be agreed with clients in advance of starting research. Price charged will depend on work being done, a per hour charge for research plus any expenses, for example:
- access to online services/databases etc. except Ancestry (world wide) and British Newspaper Archive, Find My Past, The Genealogist, My Heritage, Newspapers.com, Geneanet and Forces War Records (Fold3).
- prints/copies of documents and charts
- travel to and from archives
- General Register Office copies of certificates
